Personal travel and lifestyle blog website
The website reflects life following the philosophy of wabi-sabi (traditional Japanese aesthetics, centered on accepting transience and imperfection, sometimes described as appreciating the beauty "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature.
The task was to make it multi-colored and serene at the same time.
The work started with the branding, including selecting the brand colors, fonts (preference lay with sans-serif fonts that would reflect the simplicity), and the imagery. Photos were personal for the blog posts and stock for the rest of the site. Most images were sourced from Death to the Stock that provides unique stock photos.
